Anne of Cleves
The fourth wife of Henry VIII. Lasting only six months.
Born the daughter of the Duke of Cleves, Anne had been betrothed to a man when she was young, but when her father died that agreement was gone.
Through the scheming of Henry VIII's privy counselor, Thomas Cromwell, Henry married Anne to gain connection to other protestant countries.
